I have no issues with my LG OLED setup in my game room. I do wish I would have gotten the next size up but the prices were a good bit higher a few years ago when I bought mine and I was buying speakers and a receiver setup at the same time so I opted for the 65". I want to replace it with a 77 or 83 and move the 65" to the living room at some point though.

I love my 8k QN800B 75". Brightness is most important to me and the bloom that is stated can happen but it's very minimal. Just go on YouTube and look for OLED test vids and you will see it's very very close and a lot brighter than OLED. How things are broadcasted affects how it's viewed also. I don't think you can lose with either option but I favor Qled for the brighter picture in any viewing setting.

I appreciate the discussion. I am about to buy a new TV for my bonus room (which is essentially my man cave/office) and am debating between the S90D and LG C4/B4 65" TV's. They are both selling for $1500 at Costco right now. Not sure I can go wrong, but agonizing over the decision before I pull the trigger

If you want to save a bit of money that can go towards stocking the bar in this man cave...the 65" LG C3 can be had for less than $1,200 right now.

How about Best Buy's Samsung - 65” Class S85D Series OLED 4K Smart Tizen TV for $999.99?

Is the 65" LG C3 that much better for $1,200.00?

From what I've read:

The LG C3 is an overall better TV than the Samsung S85D, with superior gaming performance, lower input lag, and dynamic tone mapping for excellent picture quality.
The LG C3 is also brighter than the Samsung S85D, which helps it overcome glare in bright rooms.
The Samsung S85D does feature innovative gaming features and great smart functionality.
