My advice, just ask them. They are pretty straight forward. Some on here are already using them, so ask their experience.

They aren’t the cheapest, but I’ve had them for years and their shite just works. If it doesn’t, they fix it or refund you.

I am interested in trying it out if you could send an invite.

Thanks

Lots of LSU programming interest in the Discord chat. I can't imagine why

I dunno if one of the admins is an LSU fan but he hates Alabama, lol.

I am a YTTV subscriber looking to join the IPTV world. I held out this long but don't want to miss the games this weekend.

I have read this entire thread a few times trying to get a handle on everything. I believe I have a similar setup to yours, I purchased an ONN box and have AT&T gigabit internet. I do not have a VPN. Can you refer me to Content Wizards?

If I want to watch on 3 different tv’s do I have to purchase 3 different feeds?

You get 4 streams from TV and 1 from VOD (movies/shows) by default. There is an upgrade package that allows for more VOD streams. You just pay a yearly fee per additional VOD stream.

Thanks, I emailed them and they said the same thing. So basically the “TV” feed is live TV

Another question I have - does VOD eliminate the need for a DVR? I guess my only concern would be if I wanted to watch a show that started that day. Sometimes it’s 8:30 and we want to watch a show that began at 7:00. Is this possible with their VOD setup?

You can set up a DVR on their system easy. Just get a hard drive. They have directions for it.

The VOD updates pretty regularly but I’ve experienced a day or so lag. They usually say give them 48hrs.

The VOD is live tv too. Dude, get the extra VOD lines. I can watch 8 football games at the same time, lol.

So the VOD line basically live + on demand?
Yeah I might have to spring for the extra VOD lines then. Going to start setting it up tomorrow

Yes and it’s the “back up” but it’s low key more stable than the main which is stable AF. I did the 3 extra lines for a total of 8 feeds.

I also got a shield and the fasted internet I could. The difference in price still makes it well worth it and I have the best shite, so it works damn near perfectly.

What are you paying for 8 feeds?

Same price. They have a once a year fee to add additional lines.

While I’ve got your ear- how do I go about choosing a m3u? From what I’ve read there are thousands of options. I don’t need anything crazy to start basically the same channels most major services provide.

I’m sure it will make more sense once I’m up and running and can tinker with the platform.

I will say, the CW dude interrogated me and really doesn't want you subscribing. He told me maybe his service isn't for me. And it's way more expensive than most services.....$25 initiation fee and $25 / mo

I'll give it a go and if it flawless probably stick with it.
