Are phones purchased directly from Apple shipping from “Advantage Media Services” in Valencia, CA?
I got tracking for something from here and I can’t figure out what it is …. But my Apple Store app shows my order and does not indicate it has shipped there.

Weight says 1.0 LBs - can anyone confirm if their base iPhone 17 delivery was a 1.0 LB package? Mine includes trade-in kit too but that shouldn't add much weight.

Wish I had pulled the trigger sooner. Saying my watch won't come until the 6th - 8th. No clue where my phone is. That was ordered through work, so I just have to wait......

Yeah sux. But have to be already to go as soon as they open the link to start the purchases. Need to fill out the pre purchase and just click buy. Even then you have to cross fingers while you get the spinning wheel before it confirms. Otherwise you're screwed.

I have a 15 max pro and not motivated to upgrade.

I realized my mystery package wasn't my iPhone, didn't really think it was but wishful thinking. Still have an Oct. 7 -14 delivery window. I hardly ever get new phones but upgrading from an iPhone 12, which I got in June 2022 new when it wasn't even the newest phone.

My deep blue 17 Pro came in on Friday. Also ordered a Raptic aramid cover, but I felt it left the screen too exposed. Swapped it for a beefier Raptic Shield that I like better.
I got my raptic shield in today. Now just waiting on the deep blue 17 pro max .
Expected Anywhere from 10/3 to 10/17 delivery date

Got the base 17 and decided I wanted to go ahead and get the 17 pro. If nothing else because it will hold trade in value longer if I decide to keep it for 3-4 years
Fun part is I've already shipped my trade-in phone so I have to hold on to the 17 until the pro gets delivered.
Chances once all this shakes out my bill won't be totally fricked and all trade-in credits/promos will be accurately reflected? Probably 2%

I decided to buy outright from Apple and just have them credit back my payment method for my 12 trade-in. $140..

About to get mine delivered today...ordered yesterday. Perks of living in Dallas I guess.
going from a 13 normal to a 17 pro is probably going to be a massive transition.

Yep. Damn near double the battery life. And if you're into pics the cameras are a big leap

Have had my base iPhone 17 for a week now. Battery seems okay, but really just cannot tell. At work, I think I have inconsistency in 5G signal, so I just decided today to switch to LTE only while at work so it's not draining additional battery just going in and out of 5G throughout the day searching for signal.
When I am home, I am on Wi-Fi 100% of the time anyway. So, I really only need 5G for traveling.
I have been strictly following the 80-20 rule, in that I charge to 80% and take it off manually once it hits 80% (with Apple's new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max charger). I do this even though I do have Optimized Battery Charging on and the slider set at 100%. I guess I just like the manual control of knowing when I put it on and taking it off an hour later. I usually put it on around 25-30% and then I can get through the next 2 days with light use starting from 80% before recharging.
I intentionally used my phone an hour one night and recall that I drained 7% over an entire hour of what I consider light use. My question is, is this good and normal battery drain? My brightness is always around the mid-point of the sun logo on the brightness scale slider, sometimes it's just above the sun but usually mid-way. Background app refresh has always been off, and I fetch mail manually. I don't have any social media apps like Facebook, Instagram,TikTok, Snapchat, as I do not use any of those.
Curious on people's thoughts.
Is 7% drain per hour reasonable?

In looking over the last two cumulative days since my last charge to 80% (came off charger at 12 PM yesterday), I have about 225 minutes of SOT with 42% drain (80% from 12 PM yesterday to currently sitting at 38%).
Comes out to about 0.186% drain per minute... again I cannot tell if this is good or bad.
