Any real advantage to the 13 to pay an extra $300?

Trading in a broken iPhone 6 that I've been using for the past year or so.

I use a tablet at home.

Outside of the usual CPU and Camera improvements you'd expect, the 13 has 5G and 6GB of RAM vs. no 5G and only 4GB of RAM on the 11. I honestly wouldn't expect much "real world" advantage in the RAM upgrade if you're doing fairly basic things. But I would imagine it will be useful for gaming and as they lean further into AR there might be features in future iOS updates that the 13 would get but the 11 wouldn't.

Whether those differences matter or not depends on what you need. If you still have a 6 I'm guessing they don't matter and you should go with the 11. Here's a nice model comparison for iPhones LINK

I upgraded from an 11 to a 13 recently. 5g does get me noticeable better/faster coverage. But that will depend on your service area. Other than that, the oled screen looks much nicer, the camera is slightly better, but the battery life is significantly better. I only charge every other day now. And since charging cycle determine a large portion of battery life I feel like I am pretty future proof with the 13. Also, MagSafe is pretty cool.

Now decide if these things are worth $300

I went from XR to 13 recently and while it might be because I don't have 5G in BFE yet but data f'n blows. I haven't had anything above 2 bars since then and when I'm at home I have to go Airplane mode to use any apps. Calls are still fine though.

I didn't realize that the 11 wasn't 5g capable... not sure that's a deal breaker for me, but with the 13 having twice the storage and 5g, it's a phone that I should be able to keep for a while.

I would say, if you are planning on keeping this phone for another 5 years, the 13 will probably serve you better.

Another thing I failed to mention, the 13 is slightly smaller and lighter than the 11. And you also have the option of the 13 mini if you really like small phones
