Tcl has better smart features. Vizio has better picture if you are looking at a quantum vizio.

You can buy a roku for a vizio. You can't buy a better picture for the TCL.

Honestly on current Samsung I don’t ever use the smart features
I prefer the 4K fire stick

all of my smart sticks are slowly ending up in a pile in my desk drawer. The built-in rokuTV is that good and there's nothing dangling off the back of my tv now.

Power cable, ethernet, optical/hdmi to speaker, done.

Anyone have a compelling case to do something roku can't?

Go to Best Buy and ask if they still have a Sony X900H in 65” for $999. Was the best deal of 2020. It’s new model roll out time. They might do that Black Friday price, especially if you flash cash.

Or you could go on their website and see that they do have them and they are $1199. Does a best buy really care if you pay with cash or not?

Great TV though. I am waiting to pick one up when they roll out the new ones and the x900h drops in price.

The cash probably means nothing to the salesman but the cash-in-hand has the effect of saying “I’m not shopping and am ready to walk away with it right now.” Works sometimes.

Supposedly the Hisense H9G is the best, but you can't find them anywhere. I just bought the Samsung Q70 75" and so far so good. I did a lot of research for a couple weeks and the H9G plus the Mini LED TCL seemed to be the favorites. I just couldn't find them anywhere in Louisiana or Mississippi.

I've seen that Vizio at $999 quite a few times in a 65''

It's $879 at Sam's. At least it was when I was buying a couple weeks ago. I drove 2 hours to see it in person and just thought the Samsung was much better. Wasn't impressed with the P Series at all and I've owned 3 Vizios.

Keep in mind that p-series and p-series quantum are different types of TVs.

exactly.
I literally threw my firetv remote at the dresser last night. Constantly updating some bullshite, or needing to be restarted b/c it can't find my network. Pile of shite.
I have no idea how someone can experience the built in Roku on the TCL and think having two remotes and using a firestick or external roku is better.

Yeah i hate buying chinese shite, but every tv is put together with parts from China.

I'm up to 5 TCLs. Had my first one shite the bed last week. I bought it for one one of the kid's bedrooms last April. I called their customer service and had a new TV on my door step in 4 days.

How old are the others?

I’m hoping to get at least 5 years unlike my $3,400.00 Samsung
