I'm still using covenant. I tried to install plex and terrarium. I couldn't get either to work. So I'm stuck on covenant.

Are you using 14.1? Way past time to upgrade man.

Used covenant tonight for a movie and a tv series without a problem

If you can, go to Terrarium TV (it's an APK). If not, Covenant still works for a lot of stuff.

I'm having decent luck with Stremio, but it is a little more complicated to get started than Terrarium TV.

I'm looking at the 8tb or 6tb wd drives. Best buy has the 8tb one under a private brand on sale occasionally so I'm torn what to get.

Been using terrarium over kodi for almost a year now. It’s not even close. I can go from the firetv home page to watching a movie in about 30-45 seconds. The terrarium site was down for a bit around Christmas but it’s uo and running now for downloads.

I love Plex so much, it just keeps getting better and better.

They recently added full live TV and time-shifting support to Roku, so I will probably end up selling my Tablo and getting an HDHomerun to bring my OTA stuff into Plex.

we need to start a Plex telegram. I have OTA on my Plex server and i went with the hauppauge tuner over the homerun. Works great except one HUGE issue.

The codex plex uses for OTA doesnt work well on Amazon Fire's.

i have done reseach on HD and the best price per TB are 6TBs. right now i have 3-3TB drives and a 1TB. I have room for 3 more and i want to load those slots with 6TB.

I want to talk with Kork on the best way to set up these drives. If it whold be a raid array or what, and how to keep my data while setting up these arrays.

That's about the time I was messing with it. I was not able to find D any streams for even popular TV shows. I will give it another try.

i know; CAD;DR but i have always had trouble with my RAIDs. sucks. i used to have a WHS (Windows Home Server) for the express reason of having it manage multiple hot-swappable hard drives and it was a disaster. Management nightmare; i couldn't turn off logging which would fill up the hard disk (the system partition was very small) and tried to create a windows script to delete it daily....ugh.

and now years later i'm trying to pull data off one of those disks and i can't get to it.

i hope things have improved.

I have not been able to find a stream on there (for old or new movies) the last several times I've looked. Search is awful too, both by person and title. Hoping something new is out there.

eta: using Exodus add-on for streams
I'm not having ANY problems, but I'm paying for Real Debrid, which is cheap at about $19 every six months. Without it, the streams are either non-existent, or have lots of latency and take forever to load. I have authorized both phones, my tablet, three FireTV devices and one nVidia Shield. For $19 every six months. It works.

Check out DroidAdm or Aptoide great resources of one click APK apps on fire stick just Youtube it. Been using Mobdro and Terrarium over Kodi at least 6 months now. May update Kodi for the heck of it but really like APK's because it auto updates. I also encourage everyone to use a VPN.

What does everyone use for Live TV? Only thing that I can find that works great is USTV.
