Any recommendations for remote desktop access other than gotomypc? I just realized that the price for 2 computers went from $47.90 to $88 per month.
Thanks
Thanks

I've used TeamViewer for years, finally got the office to buy a license a year ago. As long as the other computer is online you can connect to it, transfer files, etc.
If you use the free version (limited to connecting to only 3 or 4 other computers) make sure you are using the same version on each end. Once the versions get a little too far apart the system will no longer connect you (automatic updates are turned on by default).

Free version of Teamviewer works great for me. I remote into my PC from my iphone and my laptop all the time.

I haven't seen any reason to switch unless you're connecting a lot of computers.

absolutely not. incredibly expensive vs something like splashtop which does 95% of the same thing.

If you are going to be managing a large number of computers, yes. IIRC it's about $3k for a license that covers up to 600-ish computers.
If you just want something to remote into your home computer to avoid your work's firewall or to remote into you grand/parents' computer to fix whatever old-people-issue they've created, it's not worth it at all.
