so all of my emails are mysteriously forwarded to her without my knowledge... I stumbled onto this the other day and thought it was strange that a lead for my sales job was delivered to my gmail and I noticed it was in her gmail.. but then I unraveled this and go figure all my emails are auto forwarded to her and yet it doesn't appear in the gmail box on her computer or her outlook.. but I do have her gmail on my phone and that's how I noticed this... then I did some additional digging and found that there was no formal forwarding on my gmail settings... she vehemently denies doing this... but I have my suspicions'... but I'm also not a tech person... any thoughts? doesn't seem possible that this is a 'mistake' by google as she has had issues with doing wierd stuff like this before... I guess there is a reason God gave us kids as babies first so we can love 'em... if they came to us as teens... not sure they would survive the first year.. haha

You have your email account on your phone and her email account on your phone and your phone is the only device showing your emails are in her inbox. You probably owe your daughter an apology as you are likly the "h4X0r" here.

Wait a second.... YOU ARE TOTALLY CORRECT... I WAS MY OWN HACKER....

haha... it said "All In Boxes"... when her email was selected... so it was me... thank you .. boy do I feel like a horse's arse....

seriously... thank you for explaining that.. at first I was very defensive.. but I thought about it for a second and looked and you are totally correct...

Life lesson: if you don’t understand something, don’t accuse someone of wrongdoing unless/until you do understand it

ha.. yes and no... you gotta remember she is a teenager so beyond the mono-syllabic grunts I get during the day - there has been enough dishonesty and sneakiness over the past two years to make Nixon's Plumbers proud... but in this particular case she was finally (for the first time I can remember) Wrongfully Accused... I did apologize to her and owned up to my dumba$$ary... Again thankful for the expertise on the TD board (I actually showed her the post and the reply which gave her a good chuckle...)

This sounds like 90% of the computer calls I get at work. I do not understand how this shite works, someone hacked me.

If you do not understand it, how do you know you were hacked?

"I think I have a virus" or "I think someone's hacking me" are practically trigger phrases for me at this point.
