I'm going out on a limb because I don't have one, but I'm guessing you have to plug the stick into your computer?

I rather push the files and not unplug it. I can't figure out what folder they go into

Got mine and preparing to get tvmc. Does it matter if I use my real amazon account info? I don't want to mess it up. Also mine is taking forever to check for updates.

Use your real account, it makes it easier to download apps

Can some explain the difference (advantage vs disadvantage) of the Fire TV versus Apple TV?
I have Apple TV and it worKs great for HBO, Netflix, ESPN and other apps. I also have a Samsung Blu Ray player that has simlar apps plus Amazon Prime, You Tube etc on it.

Here are some additional good apps to sideload. I especially like Firefox because you can download files directly from the internet onto your fire TV or stick

The advantage of fire TV is the ability to side load apps (outside of approved app store) and not being locked down to apple's ecosystem. There is still no way to jailbreak the current apple TV (3rd gen).
The old 2nd gens apple tvs have/ had that ability and used to sell for more money (on secondary market) as a result. Since fire TVs came around that appeal kind of went away.
Also the 3rd gen apple TVs are way overdue for an update. They are on the underpowered side

Musicians should be happy that pirates play their music at parties. Makes sense
Hasn't it been shown that people who steal music generally spend more than their non-stealing counterparts on concert tickets and merchandise for artists.
I can understand record labels and distributor's being against stealing music, but artists getting pissed is pretty stupid imo. More people listening = more exposure = more money.

You can rationalize it to death, but this is stealing. I feel dirty, and am about to uninstall.

consider it the redistribution of streaming wealth.

I'm in the process of installing Kodi to replace my cable provider. My question is, does anyone here ever get "capped" with bandwidth?
I know it's going to use TONS but will I get shut down in the middle of the month and have to revert back to cable?

I downloaded kodi a while back and I've quit using it because it kept saying I was using too much space. It won't operate for shite now. Firestick has become a paperweight.

Yeah, you have to clear cache or not use it at all. Haven't dug into how to do that yet, but I just got a Fire Stick and am considering it. I'm so used to just torrenting and Plexing though.

See I've read where clearing the cache on Firestick is what NOT to do... I've tried both ways and it still says it's taking up too much space.

What do you mean "too much space"? I'm not going to use a fire stick. I'm using an android tablet to run the program and only using a chrome cast to just mirror my tablet to the TV. As long as my tablet has the quad core processor and enough memory to hold the add on's. I'd think I'd be fine.
I'm more concerned with having my bandwidth capped by my internet provider. Don't know if that's what you were talking about when you said "space".

I wish someone would do a Kodi for dummies or link it to me. I have no idea what it is or how it can help me watch free shite.
Here you go!
Followed all the steps and now have Kodi, but i dont know what to do next. How do I watch Live TV, there is no tab for it.
