Note 9's huge 4000mAh battery is going to be tempting but I want to wait for 2019.
As someone who never even thought about buying a Samsung phone, why wait? What's around the corner in 2019?
Has Samsung eliminated their bloatware? What are the differences in models of their phone?
I think my biggest hold up on potentially getting a phone other than a Pixel is the lack of timely updates to the operating system. My Pixel has me spoiled in this regard.
I assume the One Plus does this better than the Samsung?

They've got people fooled into thinking they are going to actually release a phone with a fold-able screen and a fingerprint reader under the glass.
They've been talking about both of these for 3+ years and my guess is they are no closer to it now than they were then.

i had the Tmobile SDA, followed by the MDA, then the HD2 (i believe) and there might have been another one in the mix there somewhere.
loads of fun and windows mobile is what XDA was built around originally.

when I click the volume button on the side, it brings up the slider..I can simply tap it to vibrate or slide it to lower the volume..If I hit the caret it creates, it brings up all the other volume options

Thank you! I've had a Moto for years and always used the slider. Never thought to tap.

I just see the three volume categories. No vibrate.

dedicated vibration switch on the side of phone, as the iPhone does
I don't like this about the iphone. Maybe if it worked it the way I want it to it would be nice. but it only seems to mute the text & calls, but I can have mine flipped to vibrate and snapchat will still have an audible notification. I usually flip the switch then put the phone in do not disturb.
