So I have used a Google phone (Nexus 6) running PURE vanilla google android; allowed it to upload my PHONE videos..creating with the STOCK google camera..to the stock GOOGLE PHOTOS account associated with my gmail..then used GOOGLE CHROME to click the "UPLOAD TO YOUTUBE" option from my GOOGLE PHOTOS using my GOOGLE CHROMEBOOK to push a couple of videos to YOUTUBE.
and it doesn't work. sits at 0 percent uploaded and no matter how many times i delete it and try different videos always the same result.
google support is no help. just add your random voice to the thousands of support questions that float off into the ether.
i guess you're all going to tell me your upload from google photos to youtube works fine and its all just another made-up CAD problem but frick
i am literally 100% embedded in the google ecosystem here and you'd think this shite would fricking work.
yeah, i've spent 3-4 days on this so HE MAD, damn right HE MAD.
i've done this before, but probably only have 10-15 videos on youtube because i just don't believe in putting stuff up there when google photos generally takes care of it for me.
any thoughts?

if it works for you then i'll try using a different youtube account/gmail address but i'll have to download the videos first to my hard drive.
it would nice to know if its just me or not.
ETA go to your youtube account, click the 'upload' icon in the upper right, and select 'import from google photos' (or something like that) then just check off a short video and see what happens.

It worked for me but i actually did it reverse. I went into google photos, selected the video in question, and pressed the share button. Then chose youtube.
FWIW it never gave a % complete. It just said uploading. So it looked like it wasn't working and then eventually it just said upload complete. The video I tried was 1:50 long. How large is yours? Maybe it was working the whole time and you just werent patient enough. If it's a large video maybe just let it run overnight.
ETA: i did this from my phone. I'm trying it on my computer the way you asked me to try. Youtube.com, press upload button, import from photos, select a short video.

now that i was able to successfully upload a video using my phone, i'm going to try the PC route again and see if that successfully 'jiggled the handle' here.
thank you so much for helping me with this!
