Amazon is running a sale on certain certified refurbished products. Discounted prices + an additional 10% for prime members on some items.
I just got a Ring Doorbell 2 for $120 after tax. Plenty of other items like FireTV, Echo, and Kindle on there too.

Anyone have experience with the Fire tablets?
How's the battery?
Are the ads intrusive?
Looking at the 10" for flights and car rides (downloaded videos from Amazon Prime), but might be ok with the 8" for the lower price.

To be honest the app store is riddled with apps that bombard you with nonstop ads.
It also has the worst UI I've ever experienced.
It's best if you root it to remove Amazon's horrific experience and install an Android release.
Also, It's almost unusable for kids.
