iPhone user.

Are there earbuds that connect easier?
Last longer ?
Charge quicker?
Sound better?
Easier to use?
Water resistant?
What else is important for you?

I don’t listen to music that much.
I still use a wired set with lightning cable and want to move on.

Realize you are probably looking for something cheaper, but caught a pair of Powerbeats pro for $150. Hands down one of the best purchase I’ve made.

Amazing sound. Amazing battery life. Paired my iPhone out of the box without any hassle.

150 is fine.

And I’m not a “must put a diawa reel on a diawa rod” or “must haul Milwaukee Tools in a packout” guy.

But do apple products pair easier?

Have you tried Apple AirPods and don’t like them? What’s your basis of comparison?

AirPods or AirPod Pros have been fine for me. Admittedly, I don’t have another earbud comparison except Amazon knockoffs, but I’ve been happy with both Apple products.

I'll echo the Powerbeats Pro recommendation. Wish I would have gone with them over the Airpods Pro.

Nope. Just curious as a first time user wanting to know about these:

Sound
Ease of use
Ease of paring

Any other thing that I missed that are important to you that I should consider.

I tried several cheaper brands and all of them gave me problems. Dropped calls, music was very low, poor battery life, etc..

I bit the bullet and put up money for Airpod Pros and they are awesome. They do everything well. Calls are clear as day and they never drop and music sounds great, I use them everyday for both work and home purposes. Well worth the money imo.

I'll 2nd the airpod pros. Does everything your looking for seemlessly. The noise cancelling feature is awesome on airplanes.

Jaybirds work pretty well too. Honestly, Jaybird used to sell the "Tarah Pro's" that were perfect for runs, etc. They had a cord that went behind the head but you could take both the L and R "pods" out and then connect them together. Basically made a headphone necklace around your head.

Mine still work like 4 years later but I am not sure they sell em anymore.
AirPod pros are the best to pair in the apple ecosystem if you have an iphone, ipad, apple tv, etc. The spatial audio alone makes them worth it.

I have buds with better SQ than AirPods pros, but I still use them the most because they work so reliably with Apple. APPs are probably one of the best Apple purchases I've made in recent years, and our house has a lot of Apple stuff.

That said, new pros are coming out later this year, so discounts should pick up as that draws near if you can wait and care about saving some money and/or getting the newer tech.

Airpod Pros.. There are earbuds with better SQ out there, but all in all the Airpods sound great and are incredibly convenient. I use them constantly for calls, teams meetings, and music.

I've been researching a lil bit , might get a pair, I'm an android user. A friend let me listen to what she bought -$299 for her, husband & kids. I think its Astell & Kern earbuds. Awesome sound. She said they're audio world top 2 or something.

I've got a pair of AirPod Pros. The noise cancelling is very nice. My only complaint is the battery life could be longer.

airpod pros... seem to remember there being an update soon to version 2 or something. Amazon Prime day you should be able to find the current version for relatively cheap.

I went with the Powerbeats Pro as I like the over the ear style especially when working out. Pairs the same as airpods. Never once had a connection issue and barely ever have to charge them. Long life.

Airpods pro or Powerbeats pro. Depends on the person's comfort.
