Does anyone have the G6 yet?

The G6 is out. I'm close to pulling the trigger on it. Do any of you have it yet and if so how do you like it?

I'll never buy another LG phone after their shitty handling of all the bootlooping issues with the Nexus 5x, G4 and G5.

I've had my G4 for over 2 years now and have never had any "bootlooping" issues.

My G4 bootlooped after about 14 months. They replaced it for me but it took forever. I just got the replacement yesterday after sending my broken phone back to them in late February.

My wife's V20 has been a great phone. My 6p isn't a year old but I'm having problems with it. I either want the G6 or wait on the V30

I was going to get one but replaced the battery in my 6p last week...Like a brand new phone again. New G6 is a beast, though.

No more LG phones for me either. My G5 got so damn hot that it shattered the camera lens and once it shut down it never came back on. Read of it happening to other phones and LG wouldn't do shite about it

Don't know yet but ATT wants three hundred dollars down payment on the G6 that's including tax. I can get a one plus 3T off of Swappa for 350. I may just grit my teeth and wait for the V30 or the one plus 4.

Heat gun, razor blade, 2 guitar picks, 2 playing cards and about 20 minutes.

ETA: I've taken lots of phones apart to replace screens and batteries, both iphones and android phones. I was really worried about this one as I've never had to use a heat gun for a phone but once i got the glass out..which to be honest i got the glass out quicker than the bottom plastic panel, it was one of the easiest replacements i've done.
Heat gun, razor blade, 2 guitar picks, 2 playing cards and about 20 minutes.

Same thing happened on my V20, problem is I had read about it being a problem before I purchased it so I took extra precautions with a thicker case and being extra careful...it just randomly cracked one day...no drops or anything. Happened about 3 weeks after purchase. Called LG and they claimed it is not a known problem...I asked the girl if she has a computer in front of her, she said yes, I told her to Google 'LG V20 cracked camera lens screen'
Of course she claimed they restricted their Internet access.

I like it except for the curved screen edges. They aren't cut clean and look terrible. The curve doesn't transition into the straight lines cleanly. You can see hard breaks and it looks shitty. For something you stare at all the time, it would drive me nuts.

Look at the cornerfly app. You might lose a line or two of pixels but you can probably get a cleaner corner that way.

Absolutely nothing, said it would be a couple of hundred to send it in to get fixed with a minimum of 2 month turnaround
