I noticed there is an app update for DirectTV now on my ipad. They may be updating the Apple TV app too. I tried to look at it not sure if its been updated or not. I have the settings set to auto update the apps.

I don't believe so....it's a completely separate service.

NO, DirectTV has their own app but it can't be used on a TV streamer, just mobile devices.

Might want to check yalls ATV for update. Mine is set to auto but did not update. Had to do it manually. However I did notice the DTVnow app had the blue dot under it like my phone has when you update an app.

anyone have an issue with no sound whatsoever? It was streaming fine for about 20 minutes and the sound just dropped off. I've restated the app multiple times and nothing.

Everything is working again after I exited all the way out and turned ATV off. Hope they get these hiccups fixed by the end of The trial period.

Few things I'd like to see in addition to DVR & MUCH improved VOD...
A page down button in guide
A "to the top" button in guide
A previous channel button
A preview of what's on that channel without clicking on it.

These few conveniences would be huge. The ATV remote while cool in concept, is a PITA to use at times.

I've always said that ATV needs to have a dedicated button on the remote for this that works for all apps.....just like left, right, up, down

It's not blacked out for me (New Orleans).
I have no issues watching live tv, but I've found that all of my issues occur when I'm watching shows from their on-demand service. Has anyone else experienced this? That doesn't really make sense to me.
