I was selected to Beta test for the DTVNow DVR and DTVNow update. I was wondering, what is in it for the testers once complete? Do we get the DVR for free?

I haven’t heard anything about cost for the DVR. Someone on here mentioned something about $10 a month.

I was selected last week and got the email to download the Beta this morning. The layout is much better than the regular version. Would be better with a darker theme though IMO.

I'm sure you do as long as it is in Beta.

Once complete? Probably nothing. The perk is that you get DVR functionality NOW rather than having to wait several months. I've been Beta testing for a while now. Service works pretty well.

No point in using it unless you have AT&T for internet.

NN has been repealed

Your ISP can now throttle DTV now to force you to subscribe to regular cable

Since they are owned by AT&T it will work great with them and won’t count vs your data cap

Bruh.

Thankfully you'll die of hunger soon since your ISP will block My Fitness Pal and there's no point in eating if you can't log your meals.

Started my testing last night on AppleTV. I'm really impressed so far. Found the load times when changing channels to be much improved. The guide looks better (and I did have a black layout rather than the white that is pictured in this thread). DVR seemed to work great. The only thing I think I noticed is that playback on DVR shows didn't seem as clear as watching live. Maybe its just in my head, but seemed that way.
