Might be better to call them rather than bitch about it here. Sympathy or results? I choose results.

I will, but choose to raise awareness for people to look for. You could choose to understand. Understand or be a dick, you choose to be a dick.

Are you a new customer and either poor, old, or a student? That seems to be who this applies to.

Could it be that they gave unlimited to those who would normally be charged for overages? Since you already pay for unlimited they simply didn't adjust it.
I am sure you could call and complain and they will credit you back, but next time you may need to remove it or something?
Good luck.

No, the email from Cox said that anyone who pays for extra blocks or unlimited will not have to pay above the base.
OP, what day of the month is your bill due?
From Cox:

We’ve got you covered. Beginning March 16, 2020 through May 15, 2020 data overage charges will be paused. Customers with Unlimited or 500GB data add-on plans will receive credits for their add-on plan for two bills. During this time we have suspended sales of our data plans. We want to help make sure you have the resources you need to remain productive during the coronavirus work and school closures.
You should call them either way.

They did say that they weren't charging for overages and if you had the additional 500GB or unlimited addons you would receive a credit.

I checked this out and it looks like my auto pay only paid for my internet service package, not my additional data package. The bill still showed as the total amount though

I got the $50 credit on my bill.

mine was credited, as they promised.
