Do you guys put a cover on your outdoor TV when not in use? Mine is in a spot where it won't get wet, but it's still exposed to heat, cold, dust etc... Just wanted to know what the board's consensus was on that.

I have one I put on for really bad storms but otherwise I leave it off.

I bought one from the cover store on recommendation from Chicken. Works well.

I put mine on if I’ll be out of town for an extended period or won’t be using for a while.

Otherwise I leave it off- especially during football/ bbq season

My FIL thought the same thing with his recently... now I might be replacing it since I'm the only one that has a use for it (watching football).

Will be buying him a cover as well.

Bought one. I put it on if I’m washing the house or a bad storm is coming otherwise no. So far the tv has never gotten wet but it’s well covered and tucked. Famous last words.

Bought a cheap one from Amazon that has a flap that lifts up from the front when you want to watch tv. Takes 2 seconds to lift while I grab the remote off the shelf. Keeps it dry, dust/pollen off, etc. Would recommend.
