when i used my server as the torrent server as well i would have my typical torrent folder. All of the small torrents like less than 5GBs i would just copy to my library then delete from the download folder after 2 weeks. But the 100GB tv series files i would download straight to the proper location within my plex catalog. if you "move" it from your torrent client it will move the file to where you want it and use that file it uploads from.

- blade runner DVD Directors Cut
- blade runner HD-DVD Special Edition Packaging
i downloaded a nice 4K rip of the movie for my pleasure for use on Plex. do i fricking feel bad about that? HELL frickING NO.

Why should you? the entertainment industry has been making bank for centuries. They like to promote socialism for the masses, but not for their own pockets or the other actual starving artist that they are supposedly trying to protect.

yep. we've been paying over and over to own the same movie for years.
same argument goes for downloading a tv show because your DVR failed to record it properly because it was pre-emptied by a ball game that ran long.
i'm supposed to feel bad about watching something that was available to me anyway?
and like the other posters said, tv networks are free OTA already so if i happen to find copies of shite aired by regular TV stations WHO frickING CARES.

Lots of free sharing from several people, including myself..
Have you checked reddit plex shares forums?
I could always add you to my server for free..
I have over 8k movies.
Granted, I have been having a few issues with plex crashing late at night.
I think some servers offer free trials or at least $1 trials.

Problem is I have no current content in my hardware and most want to have large amounts to share, but yes have looked around. I dont mind paying a few bucks though
