C# Runtime

I'm about to purchase a cheapo laptop for my pickleball class to handle attendance.
I am writing a simple winform app to capture attendance.
It will have windows preloaded.
Do i need to be concerned that it won't have c# runtime libraries.
Also, will 4Gb of team be enough?
Again, trying to hold down costs.

Just go to gemini and have it write something in python. You don't need to compile anything, let AI do the work.

The C# runtime is a free download even if it doesn't come preloaded. However I would not recommend 4GB of ram for any use case these days. 8 is barely enough when it comes to Windows.

Couple thoughts: cheap laptops and windows are a terrible match and lugging one around seems counterproductive.
Can you just build a PWA and use your phone? It’ll be cheaper than buying a laptop and you won’t have any baggage.

just have a qr code they scan.
They can scan this and check in.

TBH there is probably an app for your phone for this.
