First time buying one. Just never liked how trendy they are but after going through 2 off brand and having them break I need the real thing. My limit is $200. Someone please advise me I have 20 Amazon tabs up.

ETA: I have a small wrist so it'll have to be the smallest size

I have nothing but love for my Fitbit luxe because the battery goes about 10 days between charges and it does all the health stuff including defib detection on a thinb black band about the size of the old yellow livestrong thingie everyone used to wear.

It doesn't connect to my work calendar or messages and I'm not trying to download a Rolex watch face but I can tell you it's the best smart watch I've ever owned and I've gone through about 6 over the years.

Great choice assuming you have an iPhone. Unlike any other smart watch, so many things you can do with it, too many to list here.

Best bet is you can get certified refurbs for $150 or less right off of Amazon..

Or . Tons for sale on eBay in smallest size too.

Not sure why. There is only one new model that comes close to your price range, the SE, and if you know what size you want, that's pretty much it.

Check the list of refurbs through Apple here starting at $209.

Apple Watch SE is going to be your best bet. Looks like you can get one new for $170 right now. The only other one I would consider is the Series 10, but that will run you $300.

I would have got the brand new SE. You got a refurbished 2 year old that only has a couple years left of updates. Something to think about...

Yeah I’m returning it for the SE. Thanks.

I use the Garmin Venu 2. Does what I want, I get my texts and emails on it. Can set it up for music as well. Only have to charge it once a week v. every damn day for Apple Watch, Samsung, and pixel watches.

to be real...i would rather not have to think about it. daily charging a watch is just an unnecessary complication.

i had pebl, 2 LGs (square one and round one) and a samsung that never did AFib despite promises of it 'coming soon' and they were all scrap after a year or 2.

just trash.

the fitbit luxe is the first watch ive ever fallen in love with and thats precisely because i dont charge it for weeks at a time and it doesn't get in my way at all. stays on 24/7 and just does its thing; i don't even tap it to turn the screen on for the time except once every couple of days. working in the yard, showering, swimming, etc. it never comes off.

other than that its just a black band on my wrist that keeps an eye on a dozen health metrics all the time.

The watches made by the phone manufacturers generally have to be charged every day or other day. The fitness watches, which have many of the same functions, and are made by Garmin and Fitbit only require charging once a week. Much more convenient.

Imagine the shock for these posters if they ever buy a rolex.

Mmm...do you wear your watch at night, every night, 24/7?

If so why?
