I'm heading off to MIT for four or five years so I can graduate to figure out the awful UI and the damn add ons with dead URLs all over the place.
What a tire fire that shite is.

The UI isn't the best, but it's functional. And I'm not having too many issues with dead links. But, It's free, dude. Spend $250/mo and you can get all the HD movies and shite you want with no dead links.

You expect something free to have a flawless UI, you are living in a fantasy world.

Yeah, it's a pain. I have to watch a youtube video every time I want to update/install an add on, but it's free.

Generally you get what you pay for. In this case you are paying nothing so often you will get nothing useful. Anything useful is gravy. But my time is too important to me to waste distinguishing the gravy from the squirts.

The UI is better than Amazon Prime's UI......well......I use the Convergence skin which is different than that crappy Estuary that has become the Kodi default.

the XBMC UI is fine. It is the shitty addons that makes it suck.

Use Terrarium TV instead of Kodi. Is is extremely easy to use and requires no add-ons. It is a basic android application that requires 2 additional applications be installed the first time you use it (MX Player and a codec). When Exodus started having problems I found this and haven't looked back since. I have actually uninstalled Kodi from every device.

How the hell you supposed to find anything to watch? I been looking for a stream for 3 days and can't find a movie made in the last two years. What a sham....

Kodi people are worse than crossfitting vegans. If you question kodi, you're just too dumb to figure it out.

I second putting Terrarium TV on the fire tv or fire stick.
Kodi works As well stick to the Covenant add on for now.
But with both of these you need to put your work in. You need to check blogs and be on the lookout for changes.
The days of adding Exodus and not having to change anything for 6 months are over.
Terrarium TV and Kodi are still great for watching movies and tv shows the day after air for t.v. or after the DVD drops for movies.

I use DTV Now (mainly because I got in at the $35 deal), Terrarium, and CBS All-Access (for the wife). Terrarium is basically my go to as DTV Now does not have DVR currently. I just add our TV shows to the favorites and we get a notification on the Fire TV when a new episode airs and is added. Its extremely easy to use and I have never had a dead link since I started using it ~3 months ago.
I like this setup so much better than cable or satellite. Its cheaper and when you leave you can take your service with you (IE evacuating for over a week due to a hurricane).
