I for the life of me can't remember the website I used a couple years ago for my home computer. Got a half decent price for the subscription. Now I need it for my laptop to do some work away from my house.
Any suggestions from experience are appreciated.

I asked a similar question. I ended up just buying a new computer that came with a license and downloaded them onto all of my computers, then set the subscription to not renew.
They have the cdkeys you can pay for that are much cheaper but i never know if they are legit.
And i say new, i bought a cheap refurbished mini tower that i can hook a few monitors or a tv up to.

Where is the best place? I mean I can start a free trial and or do a 1 year $69 from the offer on my new computer that pops up when I try to look at certain files. I'm not being cheap just wondering if this is the best route to go.

Kids with a .edu address? It's free. I have a .edu so I get it free anyhow, but my wife used one of the kids addresses on her laptop.

I have the 365 yearly plan for $69. I use word/excel/outlook from time to time, but I kill that onedrive. I like it and think its worth the yearly.

LibrefOffice is you want something free and solid.
But you have to have word, like dang man it's like $6.99 a month. Cancel when you no longer need it.

Just download it from the Microsoft website and use MAS. You now have office for free.
