Clearly, you haven't owned Samsung phones, thus you shouldn't speak about that which you haven't yourself experienced.

I have been around cellular phones since inception. I have had my hands on every manufacturer and had a repair service for several years. I know my devices, Albert Brostein.

I'm not interested in Google's first phone attempt at ridiculous costs.

Did you miss google's entire nexus line? They were phones that provided great hardware at a value. This is the first time google is going for a premium device though.

Yep. I went from note 3 and then a 4 to a Moto Pure X and am delighted with my switch.

Are you talking about the ones manufactured by either Samsung or LG?

There were plenty other better options for those first few, and the note was a great choice for every phone after up until now.

Im going with the edge. I know you'll hate me and belittle me, and I'm poor etc. Etc.

Despite everything discussed, and your condescension towards anyone who doesn't fully buy in to the Google pixel, of all other phones outside of the note, a Google phone would intrigue me the most. I'm not ready to jump up Google it's first try at PREMIUM PHONES. I'm confident they'll make great improvements to the next premium phone they come out with, just not ready now.

Doesn't mean you're void of personal bias. You're probably thinking you are less bias than most because of that. I bet I could find someone exactly like you who does exactly what you do to contradict what you say.

How about reviews that review every phone? They get their hands on many phones, and lots of said it's great but meh for the price.

Yup, and even the Pixel is manufactured by HTC.

Not going to belittle you at all. Feel free to buy any phone that you like.

Boy do you have me pegged wrong! I am not knighting for Google per se, as much as I was showing how unnecessary SD cards will become in the near future.

I'm an iPhone user, always have been. And up until last month, I was still using a 5s that I had for three years. Certainly not trying to put anyone down for not buying the latest/greatest phone at every turn.

Sure as hell seems like it!

Admittedly, I have little use for extra memory, but I got a free 256GB microSD from Samsung to use.

As I said before, I have these accessories from Samsung:

-GearFit2
-Wireless Fast Charger
-Gear VR
-256GB microSD

If Samsung waits awhile before releasing another Note, then I may give the Google Pixel a look, or whatever new phone Google has. Other than that, I want a Note like phone. Maybe Google will enter themselves into the stylus phone area.

No wonder we dont get along! Kidding. Ultimately, for me I'm just an average user, and I personally cannot notice a lot of the minute spec differences that may seem huge on paper, but in real time not as pronounced. There are about a billion factors unique to each cell phone owner that greatly effect the fit of any particular phone relative to that user. For 95% of the public, every phone does everything about the exact same, in about the same exact number of steps, in almost the exact same manner. Texting, calling, browsing, email. Those are the core features pretty much everyone uses. We are seriously splitting hairs here when it comes to average usage, minus a few features.

Now here's something we can agree on

I think we'll see a Pixel C with digitizer/stylus first (Ipad Pro competitor), but I agree a Note running pure android would be my ideal phone device.
