Best B&W printer cheap ink

Looking for general printing at home for homework, etc. Looking for least expensive refills. Most printing will be B & W, but color option is good.
Don't want a $69 printer with $95 refills.
It will be a wireless connection.

I got a Canon color laser printer sub $200. We print ALOT, we buy our paper by the case. I use toner kingdom cartridges and even with the inflation a 4 color high yield pack is $70-$80. The toner cartridges are rated for 3000 pages Black and 2300 color. We go through 2-3 black toners before we replace the color, and those run about $25 each now. When we got the printer we could get a 4 color pack for $50 and the two pack of blacks for $35 but that was pre covid.

check out hp instant ink subscriptions. i pay $3 a month for a up to 50 pages of color printing. unused pages rollover.
since printer is on wifi, it knows when ink is low and you automatically get sent new cartridges as needed before yoo run out.
ive had it for over a year now and have been pleased.

If you can live without the integrated wifi (using a cheap wireless router as a print server). For B&W lasers are going to be far more economical. I'm still running an HP 4015 that I picked up 11-12 years ago. Change the toner about once every 3 years (using the $35 universal carts, not the $140 HP ones). The printers can be had for < $200 refurb'd.
