I got rid of Alexa so I'm fresh out of voice control goodness for my older Sonos setup in my bar. I thought an old phone or tablet with the Sonos app would be a great way to let guests play music.

Looking for ideas about placement and ways to make this look integrated and not obnoxious.

Don't know how much you are into tinkering these days, but there is a Sonos integration for Home Assistant. Not sure if you run HA, or would want to, or how featureful the integration is. Might be worth a look though.

Also HA has been adding a voice assistant. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to soon as I'm about to dump all of our Alexa crap. She's been annoying AF with the ads and shite and I think she's getting dumber.

yeah I can't believe it took me 3 houses to ditch that crap.

No ring subscription for me either. Just old school poe and a nvr.
