I'll go with fiber once it's available here (google or AT&T)
Currently on Spectrum 200Mbps download which is plenty and cheap ($45), but wife works at house a lot and has to upload large files sometimes...and well, we get capped at like 12-14Mbps upload speeds and it kills her
She has 1Gbps upload at work

We have AT&T fiber available now in my neighborhood. I'm paying $94 after taxes, fees etc for Cox (150 Mbps) right now.
What are you waiting for then? its a no brainer AT& T fiber is the much better option

It hasn't been available for that long. They laid the fiber over a year ago but just started advertising the service.

I am over in the Oak Hills area. I pay Cox $185 for 100/12, the 140 channel Contour package and a phone line that goes unused. Currently have cell service with ATT so I am hoping the $90/mo fee drops to $80/mo as I have heard other folks saying their cell plan gets a bundle discount.
Even if I have to pay $90 + fees, the additional cost for Hulu or YTV is still going to save me $30-$40 per month over what I am paying Cox. Plus no data cap!
What really gets me is there is one side of one street in the neighborhood that connects to the adjacent neighborhood. Those are the only houses in my neighborhood that can get fiber today. Everyone else is waiting for what I can only imagine is the backend work.

There’s no reason any civilian needs 300MBPS.
I can remember installing a 33 kb modem and thinking I was the shite

What neighborhood are you in? Reason I ask is because I am in Azalea Lakes and we just had the fiber lines run a month or so ago.
They ran fiber in our neighborhood over a year ago and we just now have it available.
