At least in some locations.
So happy.
Once it is here I am going 2000 all the way!

That’s incredible.
Meanwhile all they can offer me is 10.

I wonder if that will come to me, is there a map? I have 1000 currently.

Is there a site that details the locations they're serving?

Nice. Curious how close it gets to those numbers advertised

I still see nothing of this on their site. Did you make this up?

I'm looking forward to seeing people whining about not getting these advertised speeds on old devices with 100mbs nics

WILL THEY PLEASE ALLOW USE TO USE SOEMTHIGN OTHER THAN THEIR GATEWAY WITHOUT A HACK?

Not a big issue for me, but I could see how it would be for other people. I have a 2400sqft single story house, and my speeds drop to about 250mbs on the edges. Now, my main rig is jacked into the wall, and I don’t need more than 250mbs on any of my mobile devices, but I could see that being a rather big fricking problem in larger homes.

That's not really what he's talking about. I think he uses a Ubiquiti DMP and still forced to use the ATT gateway which causes many headaches setting up your own home network.
I actually just got their fiber too, and I'm not looking forward to the clusterfrick of having to finagle my opnsense server with it

yea. I have had ATT fiber for years and have have the pass through to other routers. and in 6+ years i have gone through 4 different gateways. They are terrible hardware and go out all the time. I dont understand how their security certificate couldnt be donw via a phone call when you set up your router similar to cable modems. But no, you have to use that piece of shite gateway.
And yes there is a way around it by coping the certificate off a hacked gateway, but it really is a lot of code and i dont want to frick my shite up. And im usually all for that.

I knew what he was talking about; most people don’t go Ubiquiti unless they need the mesh, need the security, or both. I figured it was mesh in his case. But I obviously could be wrong

$180/month for 5000.
I'm paying $50 for 1000. I'm good.

Same here
I don’t even need 1000, but I’m on a nice promo that I renew every year by calling customer retention

Anyone running ubiquiti etc needs to upgrade to the new BGW 320. Once I switched from the old pace POS I get full 1gig bandwidth and almost 0 problems. I'm running a Dream Machine with 2 U6Lite access points and my internet/wifi is finally rock solid reliable and fast everywhere in my house.
With the pace it was half speed and constant headaches, about as reliable as my old cox internet in the Garden District and that shite was awful.

I live out in the country and all I can get is 25. It gets me by. I'm able to stream 4k feeds no problem and browse the net.

Yeah, I legit get 1260/1260 jacked into the wall. I'm not saying I'll never need more, but it's going to be a fricking minute

Do you just use IP Passthrough with it though? I'm going to be really interested in seeing how my network is affected going through their gateway and shitty NAT tables with my own router.
