Some of the Best Buy's have a few Apple Watch 2's. Just have to check the www for the specific one near you. I kept checking but they didn't have the one my wife wanted so ended up ordering anyways.

Agree w the nurse constantly watching and working w "fluids" and ease of not worrying about it w the series 2.

Good point, nurse.

If they were closer in price, it would be a no brainer to get the 2...but its almost twice as much....

Well for me....I wanted the gps and water resistance....otherwise I wouldn't want it. I want th be able to use it at work, and for my workouts. Being able to wear it when I go kayaking is a huge plus for me.

I wouldn't even get one if I didn't want to use the fitness features of it,

So, the Series 1 tracks steps like a fitbit, but with no GPS, correct?

The GPS is cool....I am the runner in the group, if nothing else...I could use that feature...maybe I will go with the 2.

Series 1 still has the HRM, accelerometer, and can use the phone's GPS.

It's still useful for tracking fitness related items.

Just bought the Fitbit Blaze for my dad. He isn't very tech savvy so I hope he can use it without getting frustrated.

You may say you don't care about the water resistance but you will be glad you have it for piece of mind at the very least.

I got the 1st series last Christmas and I wish it was waterproof like the 2nd. Mostly in the Summer when we go hiking or swimming.
