Same, we are basically screwed by doing the upgrade plan. The nearest phone to me that I wanted was in Chicago as soon as the site went live for me. I reserved a silver in Atlanta. I may not show for that though. Basically we are stuck trying to reserve again at 8am on release day because we can't do anything else.

Was able to preorder a 128 GB 7+ black & rose gold for the wife through verizon with delivery by 9/28.

I love it when you have to literally ignore your earlier posts on the same subjects in order to be able to disagree with someone. You have dogged Apple and even Spotify out before for the non FLAC sound quality on their streams (320 for Spotify, 256 for Apple). You know good and damn well Tidal is the only streaming service that streams FLAC and even they are still compressing streaming music to users.

Regardless of listening equipment and quality, streamed music loses some sound depth and overall quality because of this. You know it because you have shite on Apple on this site for their compression levels being lower than competitors.

Your response is dissembling because you yourself have posted the same damn thing...and yet here you are saying that's not true?

You become such a slave to whatever narrative you're arguing that you literally have to pretzel and contort yourself into disagreeing with your own Tech-related HOTTAKES.

You aren't gonna get screwed next year either.

Apple forced those that got on it to pick it up in stores last year. This year they are letting new people ship it to them. Those of us already on the upgrade plan still have to go in the store to trade in our phones, well all the flat black phones in 128 and 256 were sold out in 99% of the stores before the site even came up for most people. We can't order them for shipping and we can't get in a queue to get the phone at a later date at the store. Basically we are stuck right now with no way to order the phone we want. Apple f'ed this up hard.
