I’d be curious how much this is actually a circular arrangements to circumvent after recent anti trust decisions about google paying to be the default on iPhones.
It seems more like huge corporations are starting to act more like the five families and are really agreeing behind the scenes to stake claims to their lanes and in turn agreeing not to interfere with the others’ lanes.

i couldn't eevn type in 'restaurants near me' or anything else. i am not sure what they did, but they pretty much lobotomized google searches in europe.

Thats awful! I lived there a decade ago and maps was incredible for getting around using transit. I couldn’t believe how thorough and accurate it was.

Anyhow, I like different functionality points and features of both platforms.

I miss old AirDrop, it's not as much fun without the pic previews you are forced to see and strangers leaving their airdrop on.

Do you mean Quick Share? I've never used it.

Quick share works seamlessly from android to another android or windows. If sharing to an apple device you can let them scan a QR code or text them a link to the files, works fine either way. I prefer it to airdrop as airdrop is limited to only apple devices

Quick Share is the android airdrop. Built into android and located in quick settings.
