I’m thinking about changing to one of these but was hoping to get some real world opinions

I've used Visible for almost a year. I upgraded to the $45 plan to get full Verizon speeds. I had Verizon for a few years before and I don't notice any difference. Calls and data speeds are great. The only downside is they don't do family plans so each line will need it's own account but my wife and I are paying half of what we paid for Verizon.

Thanks. I only need one line so the family plan won’t be a problem. So you have to upgrade the the plus plan to get full speeds or is it full speeds after so much data usage?

Swapped to mint from Verizon over a year ago. Haven’t really noticed that much of a change except on the bill. Like the previous guy mentioned, it’s good if you’re doing one or two lines. If you’re doing 4 or 5 then a family plan is likely cheaper or the same. I pay $720 for a year of unlimited data on 2 lines. The unlimited is overkill too.

ETA: Mint uses T-Mobile towers so I would just look at a coverage map for any you are considering to make sure your area is well covered.

The plus plan gives you full uncapped 5g ultra wideband and also texting and calling to a bunch of different countries. BR doesn't have ultra wideband but I have noticed much better video performance. I upgraded my wife because we went to London last year and she needed to be able to call there to schedule the different things that we did. For only $15 more I just never dropped her plan down when we got back. I would start with the normal plan and then upgrade if the speeds aren't enough for you.

I was using Mint and it was ok. It's good enough for a single user. The only issue now is that Mint just sold to TMobile so there's a bit of uncertainty as to if it'll stick around OR if they'll keep all of the same plans?

So I was reading T mobile basically made mint sell to them or they were going to basically kill their speeds. Pretty ruthless

Tello is another T-mobile MVNO worth looking at.

They just announced that they’re upping the data amounts for all the plans and keeping the prices the same. Not sure if they’re secretly going to throttle speeds though.

Look at Google fi also. Switched from visible. I think it's using T-Mobile towers

Visible was a complete shite show for me. Mint was serviceable with occasional internet outages.

Now on att for $300 per year. Better, but service inside my office tower is a little spotty if not in an outer office.

I've used Visible and had no issues with the service. Their tech support is pretty frustrating though if you do have any issues.

I changed to visible since my wife has Verizon. No issues so far. Will see how it goes over the next few months

Give a look to usmobile. They charge $9 per month for unlimited talk and text. Every gig of data costs $2. If you need more days in a particular month, you can top up for $2/gb

Uses Verizon for the pooled plans. Any additional user would be $9 and would share the account’s pooled data
