Anyone else having problems with Ring?

Mine won’t connect. Automated message from support says they are aware of a widespread problem. Haven’t experienced this before

I have a shitload of problems with my ring doorbells. The most glaring is about 80% of motion events send me 3 notifications. That's 3 back-to-back-to-back notifications on my phone, and alexa announces 3 times in a row "motion detected...", for a single event. Needless to say it's annoying as hell, and I've read about many people with the same problem, and nothing from ring support about it. I called them and they gave me the typical "reset doorbell etc". I've got 3 of them and they all do it.

Same here. I checked down detector and it looks like it's nationwide. I'm only halfway concerned about the comment that says "Maybe they were hacked. Interesting timing with the Bezos announcement yesterday."
Guess someone will be watching me hang out with my cat in the living room.
Down Detector Ring
ETA: *puts on tinfoil hat*
What if.. the hackers are keeping track of all of us posting online that our Ring devices are down and there's going to be mass break-ins before Ring comes back up.

Mine has been a pain in the arse for about a year now. Battery won’t stay charged. Even replaced the battery. Voltage and connections are all fine. I’m about to toss the ring and look for something else.

Have this issue as well. Our battery has been hard wired for years and never needed a charge until 6-8 months ago. I have tried new battery and no have issues with source power but it will no longer keep the batteries fully charged

Sounds like both of you have a bad charge regulator on the doorbell.

Mine seems to be losing a charge more quickly than before, and I haven't changed any settings lately. I had to dial back the motion zones when we first got it. Any time a large truck would drive by we'd get a motion notification. And our door is about 30-40 feet from the road. I usually try to charge it all day when I get the low battery notification so it gets back to 100%. Seemed like it lasted 3-4 months out of the box, and now it is only lasting about 2 months. Not a big deal, and I know it is just a rechargeable battery that is left outside in hot/cold temps, but I've only had it just over a year. If it ever gets to the point of lasting just a few weeks I'm going to get another brand. Ring is ok for what it is, but I'm thinking of going with more of a home security set up instead of just the doorbell.

Perhaps but there are threads on Ring support forums where hundreds of other people claim similar issues.
