I don't know if the web version affects that, but if you have backup on, all of your sms should be saved automatically. Mine came back after I left the P beta program and went back to oreo

I've been using Textra for years, but I will have to look into Pulse. Any disadvantages.

Android messages for web still isn't available on my end.

its kind of shitty atm. i've had to rescan the QR code 3x now in the last hour even after checking 'remember this PC' because it keeps losing contact with the phone..which is literally sitting on the desk next to it.

Google podcasts just came out and it's also a bit shitty. I couldn't even figure out how to create a playlist.

I'm sure it won't take long before both are running smoothly. 1-2 updates.

No disadvantages to me. I think phone/pc use is free. There's a yearly or lifetime sub if you want proper Android Wear usage. Lifetime is like $10, would buy again in a heartbeat. I have to set a route every night for work the next day and texting from the PC is the tits.

I'm pretty sure they will make Hangouts part of Google suite eventually and it won't be a consumer product but a business product. I meant it will go away for casual use outside of business.

I read a while back that this was going to be the case, and google was going to revitalize Voice for personal use.

I read this thread, and didnt get what this whole Andriod Msgs for web thing is. Ha.

I have an old local Voice # still, so wondering how to use it in todays world. Ha
