It’s been hit or miss but I’m still a loyalist. I’ve got almost 70 orders in 6 months from Amazon and they’ve messed up maybe 6-7 of them. Issues have been more often lately which I think is due to the temp labor for the holidays not being effectively trained.

same here. i'll choose the standard 2-day shipping and the package will arrive in 1 day. the bad experiences have got to be regionally-specific? i have never had an issue with prime. the only time i've experienced hiccups is when amazon hands deliveries off to the usps. fedex does it sometimes too. when i see "fedex smart post" i add a day to my delivery.

Yes. Baton Rouge got an Amazon Logistics depot a couple of months ago that has been an absolute disaster. My packages delivered via Amazon Logistics have had about a 60% success rate, which is no fricking bueno when I'm paying $120 a year for two day guaranteed delivery. We're not talking "a day late" kind of problems. We're talking about "lazy workers not even trying to deliver and sending it back to the sender because it's 'undeliverable'" kind of problems. We're talking "stupid workers deliver to the wrong house, mark it delivered, and send you a picture of your stuff on someone else's porch" kind of problems.
Amazon clearly had no clue what caliber of employee they were going to get in this godforsaken city.

The joint delivery system is the problem. When there's just one carrier involved, I'd rather USPS than the others.
