I had sling a couple years ago and it sucked
Playstation VUE is a lot better but it got pretty expensive with the package I had
I'm trying youtube TV now and so far so good

Mines fine, what was your issue?

I know people who have had it for years and like it. What’s your beef?

Playstation vue is pretty awesome

Probably like my parents. Too old to shift the thinking to cordless, too comfortable with tv the same old way, and crappy WiFi

I still use Directv Now. The app is pretty shitty and crashes on my tablet a lot, and still no DVR.. but it's cheap af with my ATT Unlimited plan so I'm sticking with it

I've had sling for years with no trouble.

I used SlingTV for about 2 years and it was fine for what it was. I switched to YouTubeTV a few months ago. It has a better channel lineup, most of the local channels and unlimited dvr. I'll probably never go back to traditional cable and contracts.

Let me guess, you put a roku or fire stick as far away possible through multiple walls from your router, and then you bitch that streaming sucks?

I started youtube TV to watch the LSU spring game
So far very happy with the quality of the service and ease of use

They need more channels. HBO (for an additional fee), Discovery, History, Food Network, HGTV/DIY I would say that seems like a good value. The only thing they really have is sports and news.

Mine works fine...but if your internet is sketchy I can see where you might not like it.
I will switch this summer when Philo launches so I can get rid of CNN and ESPN.

Guess it depends on personal preference
I like that I can get the networks like ABC and CBS once college football starts
And I was watching duck tales yesterday

Vue hardwired to a Fire TV and the quality is just as good as when I had satellite.

Only beef I have with SlingTV are the random super loud commercials. It’s not their fault your internet connection blows.

I had a friend switch to it from Dish for a 1 month trial (Dish owns Sling). They didn't approach their data cap, but the shite interface, slow speeds, and spotty reliability were just too many tradeoffs to justify the switch.

Sling has always worked fine for me.
