What's the best for sports and movies. No video games. 10-12 ft viewing distance to 20 ft in the kitchen

I picked up a new 2020 75" Sony X950H over the weekend. Price was a dollar less than $2k. That might be your best option at the moment.

That is a very good deal on a very good TV.

But my wife objects to me getting a new 75” TV that is only slightly bigger and better than our 65” Panasonic plasma.

She says if I want to upgrade it must be a 77” OLED or 85” LCD/LED for it to be worth the money and trouble. Gotta love that woman.

Just waiting for the 85” Sony X95J ($4500 MSRP) or for the Sony 77” A80J (now at $3500) to slip just a bit more. Maybe Father’s Day, Prime Day or 4th of July.

Are Sony OLEDs better than LG OLEDs?
