Wayne Rooney is above and beyond my favorite player. I'm not ashamed of that at all. I like Zlatan, as well, but everyone Zlatans.
What I am ashamed of is that Eden Hazard isn't that far behind.
Aside from that, I'm a big fan of Balotelli and Michael Bradley.
One player who I have never liked until I was forced to is Van Persie. I border on a love/hate relationship with him.

Unpopular opinion but I fricking hate Zlatan.
I love his talent and what he can do but the person doesn't do it for me. He's a fricking douche.
That being said, Theo Walcott (gets better and better each year, IMO on the verge of being a top top quality player), Mesut Özil for being the best #10 on earth, Marco Reus because he has fantastic hair and he is damn near unplayable for defenses, and Alexis for his workrate and his shorts rolling expertise.
