He was actually a reliable starter until he and the coach had some sort of disagreement that resulted in him getting benched.

No matter how you slice it, playing 8 out of 38 league matches is not good.

I don't know the validity of that report, but the FMF has finally realized that their entire squad is old and have since been actively trying to recruit every young dual national possible.

Are y’all gonna freak out every time some Mexican publication with no/shady sources says a player is switching? They did the same with Pepi.
FWIW Roger Gonzalez, who is usually pretty reliable, says it’s BS and he is actively looking to get back into the USMNT fold. LINK
