Olympic Qualifying will now be decided the by the Concacaf U20 champions and the runner up, so the U20 tournament and then 2 years later the champ and runner up will participate in the Olympics. Great news for us since European clubs won’t release for Olympic Qualifying

Scally is really exciting. He’s about to Wally pipp some folks.
I think there is a not too distant future universe where we’ll see A. Robinson and Scally playing together for the USMNT and I am very excited to such athleticism going up and down each sideline.

I don’t think he’s beating out a healthy Dest

Yea I agree a healthy dest is a starter in any best 11 for the foreseeable future. But the national team takes a village and these two have all the making of a very fun FB duo.

Busio taking all the free and corner kicks for Venezia. He delivers a beautiful free kick for a headed goal in the 59th minute.

Hoppe looks solid in debut vs Villarreal. Goal ruled off due to offsides but he had a nice finish off the cross.

We should be trying to send all of our young players to Germany. It's the best league for developing and playing young players.

Musah came off the bench in the 15th minute against Real Madrid and looked really good, but got beat defensively on the eventual gamewinning goal.

Dest, Musah, Miazga and Hoppe all played decent minutes this weekend. Has to be a record for most minutes played by Americans in la liga over any weekend. Very excited to see.

I only got to see the second half of the Madrid valencia game. Saw musah, but didn't see him do much.

Dest was really good, I think he's going to do really well next WCQ window since we have two home games.

Cannon and Sargent are the most recent reminders for this generation that a move abroad isn't always the best move.
Cannon had only begun to get serious Euro interest and just seemed to jump at the first offer for a mediocre Portugese team. He could've waited another window or 2 in MLS and gotten top 4 league chances from mid-table clubs. Instead, he was good there for year, tried to force his way out unsuccessfully, and now the club is pissed at him.
As for Sargent, you can't tell me otherwise that his progression would have been better by signing the homegrown contract for Sporting KC instead of going to Werder... and then he only made the situation worse by jumping to the Werder equivalent in the EPL.
It's too bad he didn't have a dog to take care of in SKC.
