Bremen and Sargent are relegated. Sargent likely on the way out.

I hope Sargent finally goes to a team where he will get the ball in scoring position more than once every game or two.

Will you forever hate Marco Rose for how they finished the season at the club, do you place most of the blame on gladbach directors or do you just accept it as how things are done in Germany sometimes?
I can’t imagine how frustrated I’d be if that situation played out at a team I’m a fan of.

I don't hate Rose. I just wanted him fired back in December for being a shitty manager. I also don't have a problem with him going to a "bigger" club in Germany. I don't want to keep anyone that doesn't want to be there. I didn't think Eberl would keep him all the way to the end, but Eberl has done a lot of good for the club so it's hard to be too critical. With all the money that everyone lost because of COVID, I could see not wanting to pay a buyout for a coach that was already going to leave. The decision possibly cost us a place in Europe, but what are you going to do?

Definitely a more optimistic view than I imagined, but I’m dead inside.

Eberl has taken the club from the 2.Bund and turned them into an occasional Champions League team. So while I am upset about the season progressed, am I going to want him to step down because of it? No. We quickly announced who the new manager will be, we have a decent team on paper, will have to sell 1 or 2 starters (but should get a good chunk of change for them), and we'll go again next season.
It's one set back on what has been a pretty steady climb.

I also have no problem with how Eberl set up Rose's contract. If you think a guy can help increase your profile (even for a short while), but his end goal is to be at another club, then I think you still do what you have to do to bring him in. If that means putting 1-2 clubs in the contract to where he can easily move to, then so be it.

I don't hate Rose because I think he still tried to do his best while he was here. I'm not going to hate him because I disagreed with his squad selections or think he was ineffective.

A goal by Green helps lead Greuther Furth to automatic promotion to the Bundesliga.

If Chelsea pull off a win against City, Pulisic may not be able to play for the USMNT because his balls will alter his running motion.
Despite losing Aaron Long, this is shaping up so far to be a damn strong year.
