Paul Tenorio
@PaulTenorio

Valencia breakout star Yunus Musah has accepted a call-up to #USMNT camp later this month, according to a source with knowledge of the decision.

The 17-year-old New York-born Musah has represented England at the youth levels.

That’s huge.

Did he have to file a one time switch?

I don't think so. I want to say the new rules allow players to switch teams easier/more often until they play in the Continental tournament or a World Cup.

Has he even appeared in a sanctioned tournament with the England youth teams?

I think Doyle is hinting at 2 more somewhat surprises on the roster.

From Berhalter via Sciaretta:

Musah

"We've been tracking Yunus for over a year and half now."
- Charting his progress at Valencia
- A lot of good contact with him.
- Berhalter has spoken with his family.
- Yunus likes the direction of the USMNT

"All we can do is hope [Yunus]" chooses us in the long term. Berhalter admits that his long-term future is sill to be decided.

Cardoso was the first player to arrive at the camp, so he was able to get an individual training session. LINK

Wow, Ansu Fati fricked his knee against Bettis. Saying he’s out five months. Wonder if we might actually see Konrad finally get minutes?
