Imperato signed a pro contract with Villarreal. Looks like a 3 year deal.

What's going on with Zach Steffen? I don't see him on the bench line up for today's game. Is he injured again? I can't find any information on a quick Google search.

Why are soccer players the only athletes to get hurt in warm ups?

That’s not true at all, NBA and NFL players tweak things pregame all the time. Have to be more cautious in soccer with the limited subs. Can’t try to play through it like you can in other sports.

I don’t know why this never occurred to me, but it makes perfect sense. I was just thinking how ridiculous it was that it seems like if a soccer player has the slightest discomfort they sit. I still think Pulisic is soft af and should’ve played. I saw the “injury” moment in warmups and it looked weak af.

Pulisic has a history of muscle injuries. I'm sure that he has been told to let the trainers know as soon as he feels anything wrong. Better to not get a high grade tear that would keep him out a significant period of time.

Tom Bogert
@tombogert

@TaylorTwellman just reported some more details of the Brenden Aaronson fee of the broadcast.

He says part of the add-ons include $1 million for 20 appearances and another $500k if Salzburg qualify for the Champions League. As we know, deal is $6.5m that can rise to $9m

We're supposedly in contact with Yunus Musah. 17 year old center mid for Valencia. Scored today. Has been heavily involved in England's youth set up. Was born in New York. Eligible for England, US, Italy, and Ghana.

Would be much tougher to pull than someone like Dest.

Won't count as an assist, but Bello just had a nice pass that directly led to a penalty for Atlanta.

Dike with another goal. That’s 3 straight games with a goal.
