It's not even the end of 2020, but there are already more than double the number of domestic U20 eligibles (01s and later) on pro contracts than there were at the end of 2018 (99s and later)
12/2018: 47 under-20 pros (27 in MLS, 20 in USL)
9/2020: 104 under-20 pros (64 in MLS, 34 in USL-C, 6 in USL-1). Plus a bunch of amateur kids on MLS2 teams who teams will no doubt try to sign soon.

News on Cappis from, I think, his dad:
Formal ruling is in. He has been ordered to leave the country. Was NOT given a two-year ban on returning (which could have carried over to EU). Huge blessing! He was also personally fined. Next steps and timing of them is not clear. #itdidnothavetobethisway
