Boavista's 2nd game of the season (Sept 26) is against Porto.

Assuming that’s the top Portugal league?

Interesting fact, only two other teams have won the Portuguese league besides the big 3, Belenenses and Boavista

Matt Doyle did a quick rundown of some players already on MLS Homegrown contracts that could be the next Davies/Adams. He goes into what they do well and what they need work on.

He lists Brenden Aaronson, Ricardo Pepi, James Sands, Moses Nyeman, Julian Araujo, Cade Cowell, and George Bello.
Honorable mentions go to Pomykal, Busio, and McKenzie.

FC Dallas did not release details of the transfer, but sources tell SBI that the deal is for an initial outlay of $2 million, with FC Dallas initially retaining a 50 percent sell-on clause. Boavista can pay an additional $1.5 million to cut that percentage in half, which means the deal could wind up netting FC Dallas a total of $3.5 million while also retaining a 25-percent sell-on clause toward any future transfer by Cannon away from Boavista

On the day that Dallas announces the sale of Cannon, Reynolds gets the start in Cannon's place. Pepi and Servania also starting.

I think this is Reynolds's 1st MLS start at RB/RWB. He did start 1 game at LW last year for some reason. Just shows he's a fairly athletic, attacking minded outside back.

First I've heard of him but Omar Sowe scored 3 goals for NYRB2 against Philly 2 today. 19 y/o winger. He was born in Gambia, but Transfermarkt says he has US citizenship as well.
He scored this goal, but Caden Clark had the assist and did most of the heavy lifting.

Clark also scored 2 goals today. Giving him 3 goals and 5 assists on the season. Dantouma Toure also had a goal. (NY won 6-0).

First I’m hearing that name, but he effortlessly glided right past the defenders in that clip.

Tyler Adams 2019-2020 highlights
his first step is incredibly quick. he has great judgment of when to step and when to sit back and let the attacker make a mistake. His passing is also pretty great.

Bello has been looking pretty damn good for Atlanta. Keeps getting better every game. With our lack of depth at LB, he may be getting a look soon.

Really good on the counter press right after conceding possession. This is why having him more up the field in a box to box role for the US might make sense
