Hamid has a serious injury (hip or knee, cant remember off top of my head at moment) that will keep him out for months. Word is that it is serious and very concerning.
Really unfortunate for him because he has played so well the last couple of years and was just about to get involved with the usmnt.

It was reported in late Janurary that he will be out 4 to 6 months.
