I agree that he could have scored a goal against Ederson in the goal mouth.

I don't think Pulisic did anything wrong here, every player hits that the exact same way with their momentum going around the keeper and away from goal, it was just a ridiculous save by Walker.

I think that Pulisic has taken the constructive criticism of Lampard to heart. Lampard wants him inside the box close to goal as much as possible. Pulisic seemed to be in position to score from passes or deflections against Man. City. He will continue to learn how to best time and angle his runs with great coaching.

This is honestly the biggest improvement in his game I’ve noticed compared to his time with Dortmund. I constantly bitched and moaned about how he was always dragging behind the play, late to arrive in the box so he always missed out on the trash goals, all the put-backs and tap-ins. I was never sure if it was due to lack of effort, or maybe he was being told not to and just had different responsibilities. Either way it’s been great to see him in the box more.

Sargent comes in at half time and knocks one in late in a 6-1 win for Bremen. This win puts Bremen in the regulation playoff.

That’s weak, at least make the red worth it.

We need some of these RB’s to play LB. RB is the one position we have very good depth at.

Dest has played LB a little bit for Ajax, also Nick Lima played more LB than RB last season for San Jose and played LB for the Quakes in his one game this season.

This is probably the deepest we've ever been at outside back.

ETA: Also, Antonee Robinson should be at Milan right now.

Here's the Sargent goal.

Nice run and nice finish.

LINK

I'm still not fully sold on him. Still a lot of holes in his game, but he did have some decent production in limited minutes on a shite team.

McKinze Gaines scored again for Sonnenhof Großaspach in a 1-0 win over Magdeburg in 3.Liga. That's 3 goals and 1 assist in 8 games since the season started back. He only had a few starts prior to the pandemic, but has started 6 games since play resumed. His team is getting relegated, but hopefully he's shown enough to get picked up by a better team.

Supposedly has a 50 million euro release clause if he is with the B team and 100 if he is with the A team.

That gives me a little hope because I wasn't sure if they actually rated him or not.

It's foolish to think he'll break in anytime soon, but he has to be at least be a mainstay on Barca B next season with maybe some appearances on the bench for Barca.
