This kid Haland is a fricking phenom. He has 17 goals in 8 1/2 games and is the guy who scored 9 goals in a match at the u20 WC. First half hat trick today.

This is the most recent thing I found regarding Tyler Adams posted on twitter from 9/13/19. It comes from a bild article run through google translate. So take that for what it’s worth. But it makes a lot more sense than his adductor keeping him out this entire time, like we were sort of led to believe. Sounds like he just picked up another injury, but his return is soon. :fingers crossed:

Thanks for the update on Adams. It would be nice if he could be the next long term solution to our defensive mid field weakness. A pairing of he and McKennie playing in top form would be a great relief from what we've had over the past few years.
