It's the 1st player transfer since Dallas and Bayern started their partnership earlier this year. Richards is from Alabama.

Schalke's American forward Haji Wright, 20, is going on a trial with Union Berlin of the 2.Bundesliga.

Werder Bremen is starting both Sargent and Johannsson in their friendly today.

Sargent scored his first goal 2 minutes into his first match.

Akil Watts' signing means that 16 of the 21 players on last year's U.S. U17 MNT have gone pro. Likely to be 17 with Blaine Ferri looking at options.

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he just scored once. Johannson scored as well.
Eintracht Cuxhaven sucks, so I'm not taking a lot from it (Bremen scored 10 goals in the two 45 min friendlies) but it's good to see both of them on the score sheet.

Hop on the Werder train. My #19 Sargent jersey will be in the mail relatively soon.

Yeah. That context was definitely needed.

I actually understated it as well. 8 goals in the first 45. 5 goals in the second 45.

Hopefully the addition of Sargent at least helps us be on TV a little bit more often. Just with Pulisic at Dortmund and Bayern being as popular as they are, it's tough to scrape another one of the leftover TV times.

According to Travis Clark, goalkeeper Kevin Silva (20) is currently on trial with Scottish Premier League club Hearts. Silva is a former US U17 international and spent last year at Rutgers University LINK

Keaton Parks came on at halftime and played the entirety of the second half for Benfica in their 3-0 win over Napredak in preseason action. For some reason, despite Benfica winning 3-0, there was a penalty shootout, where Parks scored the deciding penalty

Wasn't the best penalty, but it was in the bottom corner and the keeper dove the wrong way.
