Weah pretty goal today. So good seeing him hit his stride.

This is the answer I got on another thread:

Can you respond over on the soccer board? Glad to know he’s alive.

I honestly don't know if he's alive. I used to post on another message board he was on 15-20 years ago. I forgot his name, but I would recognize it if I saw it again because it was unique. I believe he was some kind of civil engineer for the state, graduated from Bama around 2010. We had mutual friends on social media. I attempted to find him that way, but our mutual friend has their friends list on lock down now.

God damn Sargent didn't drop off at all after the injury. 2 more goals today
Posted on 2/22/25 at 11:39 am to BCLA
Pulisic missed a pen... not going to help the "Conceicao doesn't like him" rumors.

Sarg might be the best striker in the championship. Second goal was a golasso

I haven't posted on the soccer board or TD in ages (still lurk on here, tRant and MSB), but I just wanted to break my vow of silence to say that I want only great things to happen for Matty.
I've been running PR/Marketing for Birmingham Legion since last year, so had the pleasure of getting to know him while he was recovering from the first real injury of his young career. So mature beyond his years.

Awesome story. I thought he was very impressive in the WC for us despite not being part of the team for the majority of the cycle.
Have you gotten to interact with Ramiz Hamouda? He’s a great kid.

I sound so PR (fake), but he's also a really good kid. Really quiet and respectful, but has a confidence to him that isn't cocky if that makes sense.
Last year was all about him understanding the demands and pace of the pro game at 15/16 years old. Looking forward to him growing into a much larger role on the field as this season gets going.

I hear y’all are playing him some at CB and even DM this year. Pretty neat. I hope he can round out his skill set a bit before he moves on.

He started a couple of games for us last year at the 6 and LB.
Yesterday was his first preseason match with us since coming back from the U-17's and he started at CB.

Juventus doesn’t let Americans take penalties.
So is eliminated from Copa italia.

I'm not sure what surprised me more. That Timmy is 34 or that he is still with Frankfurt.

Brings back memories of the German-American era of the USMNT. Chandler, Jermaine Jones, Fabian Johnson and Brooks.
